I was honoured when editors Nicole Baute and Brianna Goldberg invited me to contribute to EAT IT: Sex, Food, & Women’s Writing in 2013. EAT IT is both a special issue of The Feathertale Review and a stand-alone book about food in “all its finger-lickin’ glory and tangy cultural complications.” Among the fiction, essays, poems, comedy, drama and recipes, you’ll find my piece called “Albertty Crocker” about being a temporary housewife while taking a year off for maternity leave and living on my husband’s bison ranch in conservative, small-town Alberta.
